Valpolicella classico

Grape varieties: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and a small percentage of other ancient grape varieties.

Organoleptic description: Pale ruby red in colour, with a vinous aroma that recalls floral essences, rose and violet, with fruity hints typical of Corvina: cherry, raspberry, black cherry and black pepper. On the palate, it expresses the flavour of freshly crushed grapes, of a fresh young wine with a moderate alcohol content. Dry and savoury, pleasantly elegant, refined and balanced.

Vinification: Hand-picked grapes are softly pressed, followed by natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts. After remaining in cement tanks for about 6 months, it is aged in the bottle for another 3 months.

Alcohol/Vol.: 12.5%

Longevity: From 3 to 6 years.

A wine for drinking throughout a meal, to be enjoyed with refreshing summer dishes, especially light first courses, white meats and soft cheeses. Also excellent with ‘cotechino’ (large boiled pork sausage) and ‘pearà’ (typical Veronese peppery sauce).
